The Great American Balloon Race is held annually in Danville, Ky. in conjunction with the Great American Brass Band Festival. This gallery follows the flying team of Wayne VanAllen as they attempt to navigate to the drop zone at the Junction City airport through difficult weather during the 2009 race.
